It almost feels like a foregone conclusion that John Collins will be traded by the Atlanta Hawks as the 2022 NBA Draft quickly approaches on Thursday night. The rumors have been swirling for quite some time and Collins' teammate, Onyeka Okongwu, is clearly raising his eyebrows about all the talks:

Jake Fischer of BR reported on Wednesday that the Hawks could be looking to do a swap with the Spurs for Dejounte Murray, but sources close to the situation made it clear San Antonio is looking for an absolute haul in exchange for their star guard.

Collins failed to agree on an extension with the Hawks last offseason after discussions of a $90 million deal. There was a league-wide belief the former Wake Forest standout would be moved at the trade deadline, but that didn't happen, either.

Collins averaged 16.2 points and 7.8 rebounds on 37% shooting from downtown in 2020-21. The Hawks are essentially open to moving anyone not named Trae Young and De'Andre Hunter, therefore basically nobody is safe. There should be no shortage of interest for Collins, who can shoot it and defend at a high level. The Blazers, Kings, and Suns are a few potential suitors.

It wouldn't be a surprise to see him in another uniform by the time NBA Draft wraps up on the East Coast at the Barclays Center. Who could it be? We'll have to wait and see.
