The Atlanta Hawks came away with a 128-116 victory against the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday. Hawks rookie sensation Trae Young had a terrible shooting night, going only 2-of-14 from the field for 10 points. He did accompany it with 10 assists, though, and in the process, achieved another remarkable feat in his debut season:

Young is definitely in great company here, as he joins two of the best point guards to ever play the sport on this prestigious list.

The 20-year-old Atlanta point guard has been on an absolute tear of late, averaging 26.1 points, 2.9 3-pointers, 4.8 rebounds, and 9.0 assists in 35.0 minutes in his last 10 games. He is, however, shooting at a 40.9 percent clip on the season and is turning the ball over 3.9 times per contest, so efficiency is something that he will need to work on.

Currently at 23-45 and nine games outside the playoff picture in the East, the Hawks have very little to play for this season. The development of their young core has been the focus throughout the year, and more emphasis on this goal has become even more relevant as the season winds down.

For his part, Trae Young actually still has an outside chance of upsetting Dallas Mavericks stud Luka Doncic for this season's Rookie of the Year award. However, the Mavs phenom has been sensational throughout his rookie campaign, and despite a late surge from Young, it will be tough for him to pull off the upset.

Nevertheless, what is clear is that this is definitely one of the most talented rookie classes we've seen in a while. The future is bright for the young stars on the NBA.
