Atlanta Hawks All-Star point guard Trae Young took to Twitter to react to the stellar news that Bogdan Bogdanovic is now his teammate.

The Sacramento Kings didn't match the Hawks' offer sheet for Bogdanovic and Young is thrilled about it.

The Hawks have had a very productive offseason. They added Rajon Rondo, Kris Dunn, Danilo Gallinari and Bogdanovic. These four talented players will be joining a bright young core in Atlanta which features Trae Young, Clint Capela, John Collins, Cam Reddish, Kevin Huerter and Bruno Fernando.

During the 2019-20 regular season, Young put up superstar numbers. He averaged 29.6 points, 4.3 rebounds and 9.3 assists per game while shooting 43.7 percent from the field, 36.1 percent from beyond the arc and 86.0 percent from the free-throw line.

For the Kings last season, Bogdanovic put up 15.1 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 61 games. The 28-year-old swingman shot 44.0 percent from the floor, 37.2 percent from beyond the 3-point line and 74.1 percent from the charity stripe.

While nothing is set in stone since training camp hasn't started yet, the Hawks will likely start Young, Bogdanovic, Gallinari, Collins and Capela next season. Atlanta finished with the second-worst record in the Eastern Conference in 2019-20 before the season was suspended in March due to COVID-19.

However, general manager Travis Schlenk has now assembled a roster around Young that should contend for a playoff spot.
