Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young continues to give the New York Knicks fans a reason to hate him. Midway through the fourth quarter on Friday, Trae crossed up Immanuel Quickley then with a burst of speed shrugged off the Knicks rookie to hit a tough floater in the lane. But after he converted the shots, the Hawks guard had a cheeky gesture towards Quickley:

Cocky or confident? I'd say definitely a bit of both. It's also kind of funny because Quickley is two inches taller than him and 10 pounds heavier. The Hawks eventually cruised to a Game 3 win on home court, thanks to 21 points and 14 assists from their franchise superstar.

Atlanta had a total of seven players register double-digit scoring nights in what was truly a team effort. The Hawks also shot a ridiculous 59% from downtown, with Bogdan Bogdanovic draining three triples of his own.

Young meanwhile continues to solidify himself early on as one of the most exciting players in the 2021 postseason. He showed out for back-to-back 30+ point games for the Hawks at Madison Square Garden, where the Knicks faithful absolutely destroyed him with various chants. A fan ultimately got suspended following Game 2 after spitting on the 22-year-old.

Cocky or not, Trae Young is putting in work right now.
