Another Atlanta Hawks game, another Trae Young nutmeg. The second-year point guard for the Hawks played against the Phoenix Suns on Thursday night, and this time, it was Ricky Rubio who fell victim to Young’s trickery.

As you can see, this one lacked the staredown that his similar move against the Nuggets merited, but this one might’ve even been more flair-filled, due to the fact that the entire side of the floor behind Rubio was empty of defenders, so Young was able to simply waltz to the rim and put up an easy floater for two points – and the and-one!

In his last game, Ice Trae clobbered the Nuggets to the tune of 42 points and 11 assists with 8 made three-pointers, and the early returns against the Suns were good for Young as well.

In the absence of John Collins and Kevin Huerter, the Hawks are something of a one-man show, so Young must continue playing at these extremely high levels in order to keep the Hawks afloat.
