Miami Heat point guard Goran Dragic appeared to have tears in his eyes when he was officially ruled out for Game 4 of the Finals against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Dragic's foot injury just hasn't gotten better.

This is heartbreaking to watch. Goran Dragic is clearly dying to play, but the tear in his foot just won't allow him to.

It appears it is going to take a miracle for the veteran guard to play in these Finals for the Heat. The lefty will continue to get around-the-clock treatment before Game 5.

The Heat, though, have to be mindful that Dragic becomes an unrestricted free agent this offseason. Miami doesn't want to risk Dragic's long-term health by putting him back out there when he's not ready to.

Odds are that won't happen since the Heat are a first-class organization and always taking care of their players to the highest end.

During the 2019-20 regular season, Dragic averaged 16.2 points, 3.2 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game. In the 2020 playoffs against the Indiana Pacers, Milwaukee Bucks, Boston Celtics and Lakers, Dragic put up 19.9 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 4.6 assists.

The veteran is devastated to not being out there with his teammates in his first-ever Finals appearance.

Miami fans are praying Dragic will somehow be able to play in Game 5, but they probably shouldn't get their hopes up since this fascia tear is serious.
