The Miami Heat are suddenly down 0-2 to the Milwaukee Bucks after Giannis Antetokounmpo and company throttled Miami in Game 2 of the series. However, the star duo of Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo know exactly what they have to do and will do everything in their power to come out ready for Game 3 as the series heads to Miami.

“We rely a lot on our teammates, to get them the rock, as well. I don’t think we can get away from that. But maybe we’ve got to impose our will a little bit more, be a little bit more aggressive,” Butler said, according to Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel.

Case and point from Butler. After all, the Heat made an improbable run all the way to the NBA Finals in the bubble in 2020 before losing to the Los Angeles Lakers in six games. After a 132-98 massacre in Game 2 vs the Bucks, it's time to right the ship before they go down 3-0.

The pairing of Butler and Adebayo combined to shoot 9-21 in Game 2. Butler took 10 shots and Bam took 11, but Kendrick Nunn led the Heat in shot attempts with 14. So, maybe Butler does need to be more aggressive and be the guy that was a huge reason for their Finals run last season.

Plain and simple, the Heat need to win Game 3 on Thursday and avoid that awful 3-0 deficit that is nearly impossible to overcome for any team in the NBA. Despite the 2-0 deficit, the Heat know they can't panic and need to stay focused on playing their brand of basketball.

“I mean, definitely didn’t expect to be down 2-0 in the playoffs,” Adebayo said. “So it’s a lot of emotions going on. But at the end of the day, we’re all men, and we can figure this out.”

Hopefully, Bam and Butler are right and they can find a way to fix their issues heading into Game 3. The Heat have their work cut out for them but don't count this team out just yet.
