The Milwaukee Bucks were absolutely on fire in the first half vs the Miami Heat in Game 2 of their first-round series matchup. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Co. almost couldn't miss as they dropped a whopping 78 points on Miami in the first half of action alone.

Milwaukee's 78-point first half is the most they've scored in the playoffs throughout franchise history (h/t Bucks on Twitter):

Talk about a hot hand all around. The Bucks came out firing to open the game and they never took their foot off the gas in the first half. This resulted in Milwaukee taking a 27 point lead over their opponents at the break.

Milwaukee was on fire from distance in the opening half, going 15-of-29 from three-point range in the first two quarters of action. Bryn Forbes led the charge for the Bucks with 19 points on five triples. Khris Middleton and Pat Connaughton also chipped in with three triples apiece. Even Giannis himself joined in on the fun, going 1-of-4 from distance in the opening half.

Barring a second-half collapse by the Bucks, they should be able to hold on for the Game 2 win. The Heat are in a heap of trouble, and for them, going down 2-0 in the series could prove to be an insurmountable disadvantage. Then again, even the Bucks know that you can never count out Miami. As expected, this has been nothing short of an outstanding series between two of the top sides in the Eastern Conference.
