Jimmy Butler expressed an overwhelming sense of confidence after dominating the overtime period of Wednesday's 121-110 win over the Toronto Raptors. The Miami Heat star forward made his presence known, scoring eight of the team's 13 points in the extra period, helping hold the Raptors to a mere two points in overtime.

Butler, who has helped lead the Heat to an unexpected 15-5 record through the first 20 games, showed confidence in his team's identity, claiming no one but the Heat can beat the Heat.

“We’re capable of it. We are,” Jimmy Butler said when asked what he has learned about the Heat over the first 20 games, according to Anthony Chiang of The Miami Herald. “When we lock in and we worry about ourselves and we get lost in it and play hard, we’re going to be a very good team. Coach, he has a way of making sure that we’re prepared, that we’re ready to go. Like we always say, I think we’re the only team that can beat us.”

Butler wasn't all talk, backing his words with a strong 22-point, 13-rebound, 12-assist triple-double in 41 minutes of action. The 30-year-old is leading the Heat in points, assists, and steals, all while fitting in formidably with his franchise of choice after he helped engineer a sign-and-trade to bring him from Philadelphia to South Beach in the summer.

It has been a perfect marriage between Butler and the Miami Heat, now that they have leapfrogged the Raptors for a tiebreaker second place in the Eastern Conference.
