Jimmy Butler puts himself below Bam Adebayo on Heat’s totem pole
Jimmy Butler says rising star Bam Adebayo is the heart and soul of the Miami Heat and the team will ultimately go as far as the big man can take them.
After the Heat defeated the Indiana Pacers in Game 3 to take a 3-0 series lead in their first-round series, Butler raved about Adebayo’s play on both ends of the court.
“Bam don’t need no more confidence. Bam knows that he’s one of the top players in this league. And he’s only going to continue to get better because he works and he cares…I always tell y’all and I mean it he’s the heart and soul behind us, he’s what makes us go,” the Heat star said.
