The five-time All-Star surpassed all expectations as he was able to bring this Heat squad all the way to the Finals. In basketball's biggest stage, Butler broke out and was one of the brightest stars in these Finals even with the likes of LeBron James and Anthony Davis on the other side of the floor. Butler made a name for himself as one of the toughest and most competitive players in the league right now and the winning culture he's been able to develop in Miami is something the Heat can build on moving forward.

There were a lot of questions surrounding Jimmy Butler after moving from team to team these past few years. After spending his formative years in the NBA as a back-up for the Chicago Bulls, the Marquette alum worked his tail off and slowly became one of the best two-way players in the league. He had unsuccessful stints with both the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Philadelphia 76ers as it seemed as though he couldn't find the right fit. Once he arrived in South Beach though, everything turned for the better as Butler fit like a glove in Pat Riley and Erik Spoelstra's system.

With already an Eastern Conference trophy in his debut season plus a ton of young talent under his wing, the entire Heat Nation will surely have a lot more to look forward to with Jimmy G. Buckets in their corner.
