The Miami Heat are looking to steal another game on the road against the Boston Celtics, but they were dealt a pretty hefty injury update ahead of the clash. Via Ira Winderman, Miami has listed as many as six players as questionable for Game 4, including stars Jimmy Butler and Tyler Herro.
Others listed as questionable include Kyle Lowry, Max Strus, Gabe Vincent, and P.J. Tucker.
Obviously, this is a concerning injury update for the Heat. Butler left Saturday's Game 3 early with an apparent knee injury, which was described by the team as being knee inflammation. It's not too much of a surprise that he's considered questionable for Monday's matchup, but it's certainly worrying.
According to reports, Herro is dealing with a quad ailment, prompting the Heat to list him as questionable. He only played 20 minutes in Saturday's win over the Boston Celtics, with Erik Spoelstra opting to deploy Victor Oladipo late in the game instead of Herro due to the injury, though it's unclear precisely when it was sustained.
Speaking on Sunday morning, Spoelstra said he didn't have any further updates to provide regarding Butler and Herro, but is hoping to learn more come Monday morning.
Miami was able to fend off a late surge from the Celtics in Game 3, winning 109-103 to take a 2-1 series lead. They'll surely be hoping to be at full strength for Game 4 in Boston, though the latest injury update doesn't bode well in that regard, with as many as six players currently deemed questionable to take the court.
