LeBron James' legacy will be defined by several teams. Although the Cleveland Cavaliers will always be his primary team, his stint with the Miami Heat will always be remembered.

James embraced the role of the league's villain as he won back-to-back championships and made four NBA Finals in four years with the Heat. He got his first taste of championship success in the 305 and became one of the team's best players of all time.

The Heat honored their franchise legends when the NBA honored its 75th Anniversary Team. Miami had several franchise icons on the team, such as Dwyane Wade and Shaquille O'Neal. James celebrated the Heat's franchise icons with a punny message.

Despite playing in Miami for less than half a decade, James leads the franchise in Finals MVP Awards and is all over the franchise's all-time leaderboard. He is second in triple-doubles, fourth in total points, fifth in total assists and eighth in steals. These feats are due to the fact that the Heat are one of the youngest organizations in the NBA.

Still, James and Heat made a significant impact on the league by embracing player movement throughout the league and using a playstyle with less emphasis on positions. James played nearly every position on the Heat and head coach Erik Spoelstra wishes it could have been every single one.

The Heat and James' Los Angeles Lakers met in the 2020 Finals with James taking the title home. Although that victory over his former team is likely James' last moment with them, he will always be remembered fondly for his time in South Beach.
