It's Playoff Vic season, baby! After missing most of the 2021 – 2022 season due to an injury, Victor Oladipo is back with the Miami Heat. He's had a few struggles here and there, but he's been looking better and better with every passing game. With the regular season all but over, the team decided to let Oladipo warm up more by playing in the final game.

And boy, did he deliver. Against the lowly Orlando Magic, Victor Oladipo earned a near triple-double with 40 points on 13-22 shooting along with 10 rebounds and 7 assists. His 40-point double-double matched a record last done by Heat legend Dwyane Wade over a decade ago. (via Marc J. Spears)

The Heat would drop this game against the Magic, though it ultimately didn't matter. The team has locked up the first seed at this point, and elected to rest their starters for this game. However, they decided to give Oladipo some burn, as he is still working back to form after his injury.

It didn't look good for the Heat a few weeks ago, though. They were dropping games against inferior competition, and seemed to be heading to an unbreakable slump as the playoffs loomed. Luckily, though, the team course-corrected just in time for them to clinch the top seed and home court advantage all the way to the Conference Finals, at the very least.

Miami is looking scarier and scarier every day. Jimmy Butler might have been struggling at times, but he's flanked with an army of elite scorers in Tyler Herro, Oladipo, and Duncan Robinson. Not to mention the savvy Kyle Lowry leading them and Bam Adebayo's versatility on full display. Don't be surprised if this team makes yet another bid for a Finals trophy.
