The Miami Heat are reportedly still awaiting the decision of longtime veteran guard Dwyane Wade. Will he return for his 16th season in the NBA or will he opt for retirement following a successful career. No one seems to know yet, maybe not even Wade, but according to Houston Rockets reporter Adam Spolane of Sports Radio 610, the Heat and Wade have agreed to a one year deal, and the 2018-19 season will be his last.

I don't know the terms of the contract, but Heat still have their full taxpayer exception and the vet minimum would also be an option

It's unclear how a Rockets reporter got ahold of this type of information, but it's a dangerous game in today's age of social media to risk your reputation if you're not sure or certain of the source of the news. In this case, Spolane says that he didn't get the details of the new deal but that the Heat obviously have a number of contractual options.
While it's still unclear if this is true, Wade's former teammate and really good friend, Dorell Wright tweeted out a congratulatory tweet.

Wade and Wright played six seasons together with the Heat from 2004 to 2010, and had even been hanging out over the summer.

Earlier today, Wade posted this photo on Instagram, working out with last year's Heat teammates Tyler Johnson, Udonis Haslem, James Johnson, and Wayne Ellington. That could also be a clue as to Wade's free agency plans.

Wade has played 15 years in the NBA, including 12 straight All-Star appearances from 2004 to 2015 and three NBA Championships in 2006, 2012, and 2013.
