Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo submitted a dunk of the year candidate against the Sacramento Kings on Thursday.

With 3:41 left in regulation, the 6-foot-9 banger received a beautiful dish from Kendrick Nunn. Adebayo then took one strong gather step before detonating hard at the rim. He caught two bodies mid-air, flushing down a two-handed hammer right over the top of Kent Bazemore and De'Aaron Fox.

Adebayo was even fouled on the play, as the impact caused Bazemore to lose his balance and fall on the floor.

The impressive poster jam even got famed Kings announcer Grant Napear hyped up, claiming the 22-year-old Heat slotman was ” a man playing among boys tonight”.

The Heat, however, faltered in the end and succumbed to a 105-97 defeat at the hands of the home team. Adebayo did his part with 26 points, seven boards, and three dimes in 36 minutes.

Bam Adebayo has shown massive improvements in just his third season in South Beach. The Kentucky product has been chosen as an All-Star this season after stellar averages of 15.9 points, 10.4 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 1.2 steals, and 1.1 blocks in 50 games.
