Three-time NBA champion and 2006 Finals MVP Dwyane Wade got his No. 3 jersey officially retired by the Miami Heat on Saturday.

The third and final part of the Wade three-day jersey retirement event will be the Heat screening an exclusive early look at a new feature-length documentary that chronicles Wade’s NBA career and life off the court as he goes through his final year in the league with the Heat. It will reflect back on his personal and professional challenges, victories and setbacks throughout his unwavering journey from Robbins, Illinois to NBA stardom.

As we all know, Dwyane Wade is the best player in Heat franchise history. He finished his NBA career with averages of 22.0 points, 4.7 rebounds and 5.4 assists, all while winning three titles with the Heat and the 2006 Finals MVP.

Every Heat fan will always remember where and who they were with when Wade took over the 2006 Finals against the Dallas Mavericks. Wade put up 34.7 points per game in that series and helped Miami erase a 2-0 series deficit to win the title in six games.

The way Wade ended his NBA career was epic. He recorded a triple-double in his last game against the Brooklyn Nets with his best friends courtside. LeBron JamesChris Paul and Carmelo Anthony made the trip to the Barclays Center to watch Wade play his final game in the NBA with the Heat.

Wade will be a future Hall of Famer one day. For now, he's enjoying spending time with his family and doing some work with TNT on the side.
