Two more teams picked up qualification berths for the BLAST Premier Fall Finals 2021, slated for the final week of November. Heroic and Team Liquid's Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) squads both advanced after smooth sailing through the brackets of the BLAST Fall Showdown.

As esports circuits around the globe race towards the conclusion of the 2021 season, teams have been battling through tournaments left and right. Here's a quick recap of what you might've missed from this year's BLAST Fall Showdown.

In Showdown, 16 teams competed through a single-elimination bracket, with the top two heading to Fall Finals. This event, in turn, paves the way toward the much-awaited BLAST Premier World Finals—one of the most prestigious global CS:GO competitions—where teams like the Spring Finals champions already await.

In Bracket A, Heroic completed a flawless run without dropping a single map to the three teams they faced. To their dismay, Poggerz, Dignitas, and OG Esports all fell in quick succession as Heroic easily claimed one of the Finals slots.

Meanwhile, Team Liquid came pretty close to sweeping through Bracket B, too. The NA squad only dropped one map against Virtrus.Pro in the semis, but otherwise crushed their other opponents—MAD Lions and 9z Team—in 2-0 fashion.

Heroic and Team Liquid also won $30,000 in prize money. They now join six other teams who already qualified for BLAST Fall Finals and will compete for a spot in the World Finals.
