Can you name all the teams Isaiah Thomas has now played for? Well, he officially added another one to the list after making his debut for the Charlotte Hornets.

Thomas tore up the NBA G League last week, landing him a 10-day deal with the Hornets, who are currently on the outside looking in for the NBA Playoffs. They beat the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night, 119-98 to improve to 31-33. IT finished with 10 points, five rebounds, three assists, and two steals in 14 minutes off the bench.

The 33-year-old Thomas, who has become a journeyman after his hip injury, has proven to be a bucket-getter his entire career, but for Hornets coach James Borrego, the shifty jitterbug brings a lot more to the table. In a report by ESPN, he said he's thrilled to have Thomas on the roster.

“Leadership, poise, confidence. He provides all of that.”

Other coaches have also sung praises for Thomas in the past, but he has yet to latch on to a permanent team. In the past two seasons, he's only played eight games but for three different teams.

Borrego said he wants Thomas to mentor LaMelo Ball and James Bouknight, so that's a good sign. Also, IT is very much familiar with Terry Rozier, his former backcourt mate with the Boston Celtics, and that could bode well for the Hornets.

While Thomas will be hard-pressed to duplicate his MVP season a few years back, he could provide the Hornets an additional spark ahead of the NBA Playoffs.
