Charlotte Hornets rookie LaMelo Ball is the real deal. He's lived up to the lofty expectations many had on him prior to the start of the season — and perhaps even more. Recently, Ball came up with his own version of an all-time NBA starting five, which not only includes Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James, but also, Ball himself.

Here's Ball talking about his all-time five, as well as a few other personal tidbits (h/t NBA Philippines on Twitter):

For the record, Ball picked himself, Michael Jordan, LeBron, Kevin Durant, and Shaquille O'Neal as his all-time starting five. Equally important is the fact that his favorite food happens to be chicken tacos.

Before we digress, though, we need to talk about the elephant in the room. Who else in their right mind would agree that LaMelo Ball should take over the point guard spot in an all-time starting five list? We've heard many contentious lineups in the past, but this has got to be right up there.

To be fair, this is Ball's own all-time list. Who ever said that including one's self in your own list wasn't allowed anyway?

One thing we can say for sure is that Ball is that the Hornets rising star is absolutely not short in confidence. If you watched the entire clip, you'd know that he also said that it's his aspiration to be a Hall of Famer someday. To be honest, based on the extremely small sample size we've seen from him thus far, this dream actually isn't beyond him.

However, to say that he's the GOAT point guard is an altogether different matter.
