Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball took a massive sideline spill on Sunday trying to toss up one last shot. It initially looked bad as Ball knocked down several chairs and a cooler. But amid everything, Ball smiled through the rough fall. Everything is A-okay, Hornets Nation.

Charlotte was looking for one more basket before the end of the first half. And so they tossed it to Ball ran to the short corner with hopes of catching then immediately shooting the ball. But the pass wasn't perfect and Ball's momentum carried him to the outside. Ball had no choice but to jack up an awful-looking shot and crash onto the fixtures on the sideline.

Ball certainly left everything on the line for Charlotte in that possession. Not all rising stars like Ball are willing to risk their bodies like that. This proves that Ball is indeed worth the hype. Not only does he have the talent, but he has the toughness to complement it as well.

Ball's risk was all worth it in the end. The Hornets were able to beat the Kings, 127-126 thanks to a game-winning and-1 by Malik Monk. Ball himself had 24 points, four rebounds, and 14 assists. PJ Washington led all scorers with a monster 42-point outburst.

The Kings got some good production from their players led by Buddy Hield who had 30 and Harrison Barnes who had 28, but they ultimately fell short in their epic showdown against the Hornets.
