Sam Darnold had an embarrassing moment in Week 7 when he was caught on ESPN saying that he was ‘seeing ghosts' as the New York Jets were obliterated by the New England Patriots. The Jacksonville Jaguars fans didn't waste any time, with a plane taking a shot at Darnold ahead of Sunday's contest.

The sign on the plane took a jab at the Jets' young quarterback while also uplifting Gardner Minshew. The two quarterbacks definitely have different views of them in the media right now.

Last week against the Patriots, Darnold had easily the worst game of his career. The second-year starter out of USC completed just 11 of his 32 attempts for 86 yards and five turnovers. New England's historic defense had Darnold playing scared in Week 7.

Fortunately for Darnold, he won't have to face the Patriots again this season. At the same time, he will have to go up against a hungry Jaguars defensive line that is littered with talent.

Through the first seven weeks, Jacksonville's defense has combined for 21 sacks (fifth-most in the NFL). The trio of Calais Campbell, Yannick Ngakoue, and rookie Josh Allen have wreaked havoc on opposing offenses. As a matter of fact, those three guys alone have accumulated 10 sacks.

On the other hand, New York's offensive line has been among the worst groups in the NFL. Furthermore, they've allowed the second-most sacks in the NFL (26) in the first seven weeks.

It's safe to assume that Darnold won't have a microphone latched inside his jersey in Sunday's game. But if he did, he may be muttering the same words he said last week versus the Patriots.
