Jake Paul made headlines on Sunday night after securing a shock win over UFC fighter Tyron Woodley in their much-anticipated pay-per-view boxing bout. Paul's performance in the ring left more than a few folks impressed, which included none other than Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James.

Both LeBron and Jake Paul hail from Ohio, which could explain James' emphatic reaction to the ex-YouTuber's huge win. LeBron immediately took to Twitter after Paul's victory. The four-time NBA champ shared his regret for not flying back to Cleveland to watch the fight in his home town. Paul came across James' viral tweet and he decided to hit him back with an NSFW response:

Jake Paul is clearly over the moon with his victory over Woodley, which now puts him at 5-0 as a professional boxer. The fact that one of his biggest idols, LeBron James, took notice of his win only serves as the icing on Paul's cake.

Jake Paul is truly one of the most polarizing figures in mainstream media right now. His unconventional and unapologetic ways have given birth to a fair amount of naysayers through the years. By the looks of it, however, it seems that LeBron James isn't one of them.
