Jake Paul is scheduled to fight Tommy Fury on August 6th at Madison Square Garden. However, the fight is now in question after Fury said he was denied entry into the United States.
Naturally, the always outspoken Jake Paul showed no sympathy for Fury and proceeded to call his character into question. Additionally, Paul gave Fury a new nickname.
Tommy, no matter how hard u try to get out of this fight, I’m going 2 do everything in my power 2 not let u weasel ur way out. My team & my partners have made it clear the steps u need to take 2 solve ur latest excuse. Take them or admit ur a scared little bi**h. #TommyFumbles
Tommy Fury and Jake Paul were originally scheduled to face-off in December of 2021. But Fury withdrew from the bout due to an injury.
The two have been waiting to reschedule the match and it finally came to fruition. But it won't happen now unless Fury is able to get into the US. Oddly enough, the reasoning for Fury being denied access to the country is unclear.
“I was told by the homeland security officer that was there (at airport) that I wasn't able to travel to the USA for a reason I apparently know,” Fury said. “I can stand here and say I've done absolutely nothing wrong and I have no clue why I'm not allowed to travel to the USA.”
Paul had already dissed Fury prior to this breaking news in an attempt to get Fury to sign on for the fight. It will be interesting to see who Jake Paul gets as a replacement if Tommy Fury is unable to fight at Madison Square Garden on August 6th.
