James Harden is happy to keep growing his signature beard in Southeast Texas for the next four years. In a letter he wrote that was shared via the Rockets‘ Twitter, Harden shares his sentiments with the Houston organization.

“I feel so honored to be able to extend my basketball career in this great city which I now call home,” said Harden. “I can't thank Mr. Alexander enough for the faith he has shown in me and the incredible support my family and I feel from the organization and our fans.”

Harden's efforts have clearly impressed everyone in the Rockets organization. They are more than glad to have him around, especially considering he has recorded more points over the past two NBA seasons than any other player.

“We are not a ‘super-team,' but just a group of guys that want to work hard to be the very best. And our works begins immediately,” continued Harden. “We looked forward to taking this incredible journey with all of you!”

Houston fans are fortunate to have such a young, offensive powerhouse leading them into next season. Harden is obviously locked in and ready to take his team to a championship in the near future.
