James Harden definitely has a lot of reason to celebrate these days. Not only is he playing at a very high level and is one of the favorites to win the MVP Award this season, but the Houston Rockets have already clinched the third seed in the Western Conference. However, he had another reason to have fun and dance on Wednesday.

Before his team faced off against the Denver Nuggets, the five-time All-Star had a huge surprise when he was met by James Harden the mascot. Together with his teammates, Patrick Beverley and Eric Gordon, Harden the person had a very hilarious encounter with him and couldn't help but share a few laughs together.

The 27-year-old Arizona State product is having a career year this season and is averaging outstanding numbers of 29.2 points, 8.1 rebounds, 1.5 steals and a league-leading 11.2 assists per game. He has proven that he can carry his team on his back and appears to be a perfect fit for head coach Mike D'Antoni‘s system.

Having his own mascot shows how his popularity has risen even more this year especially after establishing himself as one of the best players in the world today. Should he continue to lead his team to more success in the postseason, there will definitely be more partying for The Beard, his teammates and even Harden the mascot.
