The Utah Jazz have had their ups and downs this season, which means the pressure is always going to fall on the franchise star, Donovan Mitchell. There have been rumors that he isn't happy in Utah, but the guard made it very clear: He has no plans of going anywhere.

Mitchell sat down with Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes and got brutally honest on his future with the Jazz:

“I think I’ve reached a point where you’re happy with yourself, first off,” said Mitchell. “But as far as myself with the franchise, I see the articles, but I really address it with my teammates. I’ve seen it. I’m not too stressed about it. I’m not thinking about it. Because for me, it’s about how we can win.

“There’s going to be talk whether I say something, whether I don’t say something because that’s how I’ve always been. I’ve always been someone that’s like, ‘OK, they’re saying stuff. Let’s go ahead and lock in.’ I haven’t really thought too much about it. I’m happy right now and just continuing to find ways to win.”

The Jazz has been improving a lot lately, winning six straight. Mitchell, meanwhile, is enjoying another fine campaign, leading Utah to a 36-21 record as he's averaging 25.5 points, 5.2 assists, and 4.2 rebounds. However, he's still looking to help the team get into the depths of the NBA Playoffs after several early exits across the last few seasons.

Evidently, Mitchell isn't worried about the outside noise. He's just focused on winning. After all, he is under contract until 2026.
