At this point, it feels like Utah Jazz fans are growing sick and tired of all the Donovan Mitchell trade rumors. The team has been trying to move their cornerstone superstar for what feels like months now, but unfortunately, there just hasn't been much progress on that front.

It now appears that some supporters have already jumped the gun on this potential blockbuster trade. One particular team store in Utah decided to pull off an epic troll job on Mitchell as they look forward to just getting this saga over and done with:

This particular Jazz store just put Donovan Mitchell's jersey on clearance sale. That's now just $30 a pop for a jersey of someone they have labeled as a “former player.” That's savage.

As the tweet jokingly suggests, perhaps the owner of the store has some insider knowledge about the situation. Maybe he's connected with the same source that reported on Thursday that Mitchell's trade to the New York Knicks was a “done deal.” That same report stated that the announcement was imminent, but obviously, nothing has come to fruition. Perhaps this source had a different definition for “imminent.”

Whatever the case may be, it now feels like just a matter of when rather than if Mitchell gets traded. The Jazz seem fully committed to a full rebuild, and the only way they can act on this is if they get rid of their soon-to-be ex-superstar. It sounds extremely harsh and cold-hearted, but such is the reality for the Utah Jazz right now.
