Shocking as it may seem, but Derrick Favors entered the Utah Jazz's history books by becoming the 10th all-time leading scorer in franchise history. After learning about his veteran's accomplishment, Jazz star Donovan Mitchell made sure to give Favors a nice little treat following their 122-103 win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday.

Staying professional, Walden made sure to give an update that the All-Star guard pulled through with his promise. Too bad there doesn't seem to be footage available online.

Favors made the history-making bucket with an easy finish at the rim in the third quarter. Coincidentally, it was also Mitchell that assisted Favors' entry in the Utah's top-10 all-time scoring list.

Definitely, nobody saw this coming, considering Favors isn't really known as the type of player to light up the scoreboard. Nevertheless, the 29-year old has spent nearly nine seasons with the Jazz, save for 56 games with the New Jersey Nets in his rookie year and the 2019-20 season, which he spent with the New Orleans Pelicans. Thus, it's probably not as shocking to see Favors reach the milestone considering his longevity with the franchise.

As it currently stands, Favors has amassed 7,257 career points in 626 games with the Jazz, good for an average of 11.6 per game. He trails former All-Star guard Deron Williams by a little over 300 points for 9th place. Of course, there's no way he'll catch the franchise leader, Karl Malone, who just happens to be the no. 2 all time scorer in league history.

As for Mitchell, he isn't that far behind from Favors and should eventually surpass the 10-year veteran on the franchise's history books. Currently, the 2-time All-Star 6,373 points through nearly four seasons in Utah. With his scoring prowess, Mitchell should easily crack the top-10 by next season. But for now, hats off to Derrick Favors.
