New York Jets rookie cornerback Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner saw his childhood dream come true in April when he was selected fourth overall in the 2022 NFL Draft. With that comes a healthy first payday and it appears Gardner is putting it to good use.

Gardner took to Instagram to reveal he bought his mother a brand new Mercedes to thank her for bringing him up over the years.

“Another one off the checklist!!!” the Jets star said of the present to Mom. “Ma, I appreciate you for raising a great man❕ And thank you God for allowing me to make this happen. Love you both💙.”

You love to see it. Back in March, Gardner said he told his mother she'll never have to work another day in her life once he goes to the NFL:

“It felt great,” Gardner said to the NFL.com in March. “That was just a blessing, because I always told her growing up, ‘You ain't gonna have to work anymore.”

Gardner signed a four-year rookie deal with the Jets worth a guaranteed $37.5 million. Needless to say, he can afford to buy a vehicle or two. New York is expecting big things from “Sauce” in 2022 as they look to turn things around.
