Former NFL wide receiver Brandon Marshall notably served as a stint as a member of the New York Jets but was unable to capture a coveted Super Bowl title during his time with “Gang Green.”

Failing to mince his words — which may even be an understatement — Marshall used his platform during a recent podcast appearance to absolutely blast his former Jets teammates for the team's collapse during the 2015 campaign.

“Being brutally honest … you had guys like Darrelle Revis, who just was stealing from us and didn’t show up, didn’t get off the bus, and I was disappointed,” Marshall said on the latest episode of the New York Post’s “Gang’s All Here” podcast.

“But that’s Darrelle Revis, that’s Sheldon Richardson … the big guys that we were counting on, they didn’t show up … being brutally honest. That whole year on that defensive side, man … if those guys were who we thought they were, we probably would have went on to just crush the playoffs.”

Marshall and the Jets faced a simple situation back in 2015 as New York only needed a win over the rival Buffalo Bills in Week 17. However, the Jets were unable to step up to the plate en route to dropping the contest by the score of 22-17. Marshall did manage to catch eight passes for 126 yards and one touchdown in an unfortunately memorable loss to the Bills.

On the other hand, the aforementioned Revis infamously allowed former Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins to string together a whopping 11 receptions for 136 yards through the air.
