The New York Jets have seemed to be the laughing stock of the NFL for a while but C.J. Mosley thinks those days are over and that everyone is sleeping on what they can do this year.

Mosley is one of the more experienced Jets on the roster sitting at 27 years old but he thinks with the mix of veterans and young guys they can take the NFL by storm this year.

“Now that we’ve got a new little mix-up, got some new people around and some new faces, we’re all eager and we’re all ready,” Mosley said via The Jets team website. “We know the whole NFL is sleeping on the Jets, so we’re ready to prove them wrong.”

One thing that a lot of people aren't talking about is the Jets signing Le'Veon Bell and even though he sat out last year he is still one of the best running backs in the league.

Having Bell behind Sam Darnold is going to take a lot of pressure off the second-year quarterback, and should really help the offense.

“He’s a great running back,” Mosley told reporters at the team’s uniform unveiling in April. “You want to call him one of the athletes of the NFL, like they do in college – he can do everything. Line up on the outside, make plays. Put him in the slot, make plays. Put him in motion, screens, he can run the ball. He might even throw the ball this year, who knows. He’s coming off a fresh set of legs, so I know he’s excited to get back to it.”

If the Jets can put it all together there really isn't any reason they couldn't make a run for the playoffs, and maybe Mosley is right, the rest of the NFL shouldn't be sleeping on them.
