The New York Jets were embarrassed at the hands of the Buffalo Bills in Week 10 and safety Jamal Adams thinks this rematch is personal. The Bills started Matt Barkley at quarterback in that game and most believed that it would be an easy day for the Jets defense.

Instead, the Jets defense forgot to show up, gave up 41 points, and that led to a blowout loss.

Adams was embarrassed with the way the defense played in that game, and he made it clear that type of performance won't be happening again this weekend.

“They came in and they whooped us,” Adams said, via Newsday. “They don’t like us. We don’t like them. It’s going to be a tough battle. It’s a divisional opponent. We just go at it each time we see each other. It was personal. They came in and put up about like 40 points on us. As a defense we got to come out there and do the right thing so that doesn’t happen again.”

Adams has said time and time again that coach Todd Bowles isn't the problem with this team, but games like the last loss against the Bills showed the team wasn't prepared. It seems his fate is sealed and he will be let go after the season, but maybe a few good showings the last few weeks would be enough to get the front office to at least consider thinking about bringing back Bowles for one more year.

If not, the team will be letting him down again.
