The New York Jets have three quarterbacks on their roster competing for the starting quarterback job although according to Ralph Vacchiano of SNY, Josh McCown has looked like the starter and has been the best quarterback in camp. It's not much of a surprise as he is the veteran quarterback on the roster and was the starter on this team last year.

This doesn't have much impact on Sam Darnold as he is still going to be the starting quarterback of the future even if he has to wait a few weeks or even until next season. The big question for the Jets is what do they do with their third quarterback, Teddy Bridgewater.

They could try to trade him although unclear if there is any interest from other teams in acquiring his services. If there is no trade partner, they will have to decide if they want to keep three quarterbacks or release him. Bridgewater isn't thinking about the quarterback battle and is trying only to control the things that he can control.

“I live in the moment,” Bridgewater said after practice on Monday. “You control what you can control. For me it is coming to work every day and putting forth my best effort, leading my group up and down the field, throwing completions and getting us in and out of the right plays. That is what I look forward to right now. Everything else will take care of itself.”

The Jets have some big decision's to make coming up and how he performs the next few weeks will go a long way in helping make the decision.
