The best of the best free agents have been signed to new teams, but there are still plenty of good players available on the market. One of the better, more promising receivers still searching for a new home is Terrelle Pryor.

He’s visited with the Seattle Seahawks, and it appears that he will soon be heading to New York to visit with the Jets.

He didn’t have a great season with the Washington Redskins last season. He only played in nine games and caught just 20 passes for 240 yards and just one touchdown. But he and his agent will likely sell him by pointing to his 2016 season with the Browns (77 receptions for 1007 yards and four touchdowns).

If he could do that with the fluid situation the Browns had at quarterback, it is not hard to imagine what he could with a better QB. He didn’t mesh well with Kirk Cousins last season. But that doesn’t mean he can’t do well with someone else.

The Jets QB-situation will be one of the stories people will be watching throughout the offseason. They resigned Josh McCown and have signed former first-round pick Teddy Bridgewater. After acquiring the No. 3 pick from the Indianapolis Colts, they are expected to take one in the draft.

But will the Jets sign him?

Pryor may lack experience as a receiver, but he has proven he can do it. He has the size (6-foot-4), and his speed is well-known. He could certainly be an affordable option for the Jets. With their receiver group lacking talent at the moment, he could be a valuable addition.
