There are quite a few quarterbacks that have been rumored in trade talks this offseason and teams are beginning to call about a certain former first-round pick. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Sam Darnold of the New York Jets is drawing interest from multiple teams.

We've already seen the first quarterback domino fall as Matthew Stafford was dealt to the Los Angeles Rams. After Jared Goff was traded to the Detroit Lions as part of the Stafford deal, trade talks involving Carson Wentz have heated up.

It was reported on Saturday that the impending trade for Wentz could lay the groundwork for what Darnold could command on the trade market. The only question is whether or not the Jets are willing to part ways with Darnold as he enters the fourth year of his career.

Upon hiring Robert Saleh as their next head coach, New York is entering a new regime heading into next season. Saleh made it clear with one of his first press conferences that the Jets are still discussing the future of Sam Darnold.

For the moment, New York has reportedly listened to offers from other teams when it comes to Darnold. Though, it is unknown what teams have inquired about the former No. 3 overall selection in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Some people believe that Darnold, who has noticeably struggled in his first three seasons in the NFL, could excel if he was able to leave the Jets.

But until a trade happens for Wentz, New York may not conduct a trade involving Darnold due to them not knowing his price range.
