The Philadelphia 76ers are looking as impressive as ever this year, but Joel Embiid is reluctant to talk about the team's “Big Three”. The Sixers want to prove that they are one of, if not the best in the Eastern Conference. Ben Simmons is dishing out dimes at an alarming rate, Embiid is dominant scoring force and Markelle Fultz has built up confidence in his jump shot. However, Embiid stressed that the team come first in a recent postgame interview.

“This is about the team. It's not about me, it's not about Ben (Simmons), it's not about Markelle (Fultz). We just have to play 5 on 5,” said Embiid to Marc Narducci of the Philadelphia Inquirer. We got guys that are coming in to help us, so it's about the whole team. It's about the Philadelphia 76ers.”

Through two preseason games, Joel Emiid leads the team in points (20.5) and rebounds (8.5). He's putting up these numbers while averaging a mere 23 minutes per game. Ben Simmons is making plays for his teammates in exciting ways, averaging nearly 2.5 assists per minute. Markelle Fultz is averaging 13.5 points per game as a preseason starter. He ventured behind the arc and knocked down the first three-pointer of his NBA career. While it was just preseason, Sixers fans were excited to see it.

Newly acquired Wilson Chandler strained his hamstring in the team's season opener. The jury is still out on whether or not rookie guard Zhaire Smith will return from his foot injury this year. Regardless, the Sixers are lanky at every position and should have improved shooting percentages this season. They'll be one of the most fun teams to watch in the NBA.
