Milwaukee Bucks center John Henson is slated to require surgery in his injured wrist after suffering a torn left wrist ligament and will be for three months, according to Marc Stein of The New York Times and Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Rookie shooting guard Donte DiVincenzo suffered a minor left quadriceps strain in Wednesday’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies and will be out for the next three games, set to be re-evaluated after.

Henson was evaluated by Bucks orthopedic surgeon Dr. Carole Vette, confirming the injury and the need for surgery, which will be scheduled in the near future. His status will be updated following surgery, according to the team.

He will likely miss out on $750,000 in bonuses, as he would receive $250,000 for playing in 60 games and another $500,000 for playing in 75 games this season, according to ESPN Insider Bobby Marks.

Henson's minutes went down to single digits in the last two games, despite being a longtime defensive anchor of the second unit. He averaged 5.6 points, 5.1 rebounds and one assist in 13.5 minutes per game thus far in the young season.

Starter Brook Lopez has been holding down the fort at center, giving the team another outside shooting option to put around franchise star Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The Bucks won seven straight games to start their season, but have split games since, currently sitting in second place in the Eastern Conference with a 10-4 record while boasting the highest-scoring offense in the league with 121 points per game.

Milwaukee will miss Henson's contribution, but will have to rely on contributions from Thon Maker and Ersan Ilyasova in smaller lineups for the time being.
