John Wall of the Washington Wizards and James Harden of the Houston Rockets have been named NBA Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively.

Wall dished out a season-high 16 assists in the Wizards' Dec. 26 win over the Milwaukee Bucks, and averaged 24.3 points, 13 assists, and 2.7 steals in three games. Wall led Washington to a 3-0 week, as they finished the year 16-16.

Harden led Houston to a 4-0 record this past week, capping it in historic fashion with a career-high 53 points on New Year's Eve against the New York Knicks. In four games, he averaged 37.3 points, 12.5 assists, and 9.8 rebounds.

The 6-foot-5 ‘points guard' became the first player in NBA history to have at least 50 points, 15 assists, and 15 rebounds in a game, also tying Wilt Chamberlain‘s record for the most points in a triple-double.
