Washington Wizards All-Star point guard John Wall practiced with the team on Wednesday in “bits and pieces,” according to head coach Scott Brooks.
Now before Wizards fans start to get all excited, Brooks maintained there's been no change in Wall's status; he's still not expected to play this season (via the Washington Post's Candace Buckner):
John Wall participated in "bits and pieces" in #Wizards practice tonight, Coach Scott Brooks said.
Brooks said the contact was "very light."
Still, no change in his status.

Wall played in 32 games in 2018-19 before undergoing his season-ending heel surgery. He then fell at his house and tore his Achilles tendon.
The former No. 1 overall pick out of Kentucky averaged 20.7 points, 3.6 rebounds and 8.7 assists per game in 2018-19 while shooting 44.4 percent from the field, 30.2 percent from beyond the arc and 69.7 percent from the free throw line.
Wall signed a four-year, $170 million contract extension (Designated Veteran Player Extension) with the Wizards in the summer of 2017. That contract kicked in this season.
Wall has career averages of 19.0 points and 9.2 assists in 573 games with the Wizards. Washington signed Wall’s backcourt running mate, Bradley Beal, to an extension before this season started.
The Wizards are 20-33 on the season. They are in ninth place in the Eastern Conference standings. Beal has done everything in his power to keep the Wizards afloat in the standings. He's putting up 29.1 points per game on the season.
Once Wall plays next season alongside Beal, Washington should be back to being a surefire playoff team.
