If you haven’t heard, Jordan Chiles is that girl.

Chiles has been making headlines for her triumphant performance at the 2024 Olympics that has already scored a gold medal with her team for the Women’s Artistic Team All-Around competition. Besides her talent, the Washington athlete has stolen the hearts of America by her fierce looks that have been inspired by Beyoncé. Chiles told Vogue that she is a huge fan of the singer and seeing her live in Houston for her Renaissance Tour last summer, influenced her looks this year.

“It inspired me so much that I literally went on her social media, went through her whole entire Instagram account to find these outfits,” Chiles recalled on the Aug. 1 episode of Vogue’s podcast The Run-Through. “I was like, ‘I have to make a Beyoncé-themed Renaissance tour for gymnastics.’ ”

“This is me. This is who I am. That’s where I got the motto. I’m that girl,” she continued, referencing the opening track on Beyoncé’s Renaissance, “I’m That Girl.”

Chiles worked alongside GK Elite which is the USA Gymnastics clothing partner to turn her vision board into a reality.

“I got the demos back and I honestly melted. I started crying. I said, There’s no way that they were able to figure this out in a leo form.’ And they did,” Chiles said.

Of the several looks Beyoncé wore on tour, Chiles chose a fun multicolored catsuit by Pucci and a shimmery silver ensemble.

“I wanted to give a crazy side because I have a crazy side, but I also wanted to give elegance,” the gymnast explained.

This is Chiles’ second Olympics. She competed with Team USA and earned a silver medal in the team competition.

“That medal is something I was really, really proud of, and I’m always going to be proud of it,” Chiles said with pride to local news outlet NBC’s King 5.

“I look at that medal each and every day knowing that [those were] the times where I was crying at practice or I was just frustrated or didn’t want to do the sport anymore or I wanted to quit. There was just a lot of things that I was thinking about knowing that I got a silver medal at the most biggest stage in the whole world.”
