Since the Los Angeles Lakers selected rookie point guard Lonzo Ball, there has been nothing but praise thrown towards him.

His teammate Julius Randle has lofted his own major compliment in the direction of the former UCLA point guard, according to Caitlyn Stroh of Kentucky Sports.

“He makes everybody better, he’s a great player, he obviously can score, he makes the game a lot easier for everybody,” Randle said.

The 19-year-old gave much reason for optimism in the Las Vegas Summer League where he helped guide the Lakers to the championship game. Ball averaged 16.3 points, 9.3 assists, 7.7 rebounds, and 2.5 steals per game that helped him become the first player in team history to earn the Summer League MVP award.

What stood out during his several games played in the Summer League was his unique passing ability as he often times made passes that set up his teammates for scoring opportunities on various spots on the floor. He was particularly effective in the fast break where he dished out numerous impressive passes.

Meanwhile, Randle could also be a major part of the Lakers' improvement next season as he showed a strong commitment to improving himself. He had undergone a drastic physical change where he got in great physical shape which could bode well for playing in a fast-paced offense with Ball at the helm.
