Junior dos Santos suffered a shoulder injury against Yorgan De Castro during their MMA fight at Eagle FC. The Khabib Nurmagomedov-led promotion had a series of weird results during their events with the co-main event ending in a No Contest.

The fight ended after Junior dos Santos threw a punch, missed Yorgan De Castro, and backed away while citing some sort of problem with his should. The MMA fight ended very quickly as the doctors came into the cage and checked on him.

“I already talked to my doctor, we’re gonna do some exams and figure out what’s gonna be the procedures to get this thing better as soon as possible,” Dos Santos said (via MMA Junkie). “But before going to battle I’d like to share with you guys that I was feeling so happy. I was feeling very good during the fight, like I haven’t felt in a long, long time.

“It was good because I was able to deliver everything I worked for. The hard work we put in the gym, I was able to bring inside the octagon on the day of the fight and things were working good for us until we had this injury.”

It was good news seeing that Junior dos Santos was still in good spirits after the fight and the injury doesn't appear to be too serious. Many are speculating that he dislocated his shoulder and the MMA legend should be back in working order quickly. Khabib Nurmagomedov has been working hard to make his promotion, Eagle FC, a fun alternative to the UFC.
