Last night, the Oklahoma City Thunder handed the Dallas Mavericks their third playoff loss, winning 119-108. The game certainly got heated as the Mavericks put forth their best effort to rally against the talented Thunder team.
Star small forward Kevin Durant ended up receiving his first playoff ejection when he committed a flagrant foul against rookie Justin Anderson.

Durant certainly paid the price for this foul, but his intentions were far from the result. Durant was simply trying to prevent the ball from reaching the net during Anderson's attempted layup, but he ended up giving the rookie a big slap to the face.
“I didn't want to do that. That's not what I wanted to do,” said Durant post game. “It was a flagrant, even though I wasn't trying to intentionally foul him.”
Overall, there was not too much resentment between the two after the game. Durant and Anderson, considering the two played on the same team at Montrose Christian School in Maryland, almost immediately made up after Durant apologized.
The flagrant foul can be seen here right below. Hopefully unfortunate mishaps like these are mitigated going into Game 5.
