As the Sacramento Kings try to build, the team found a sensational connection between Tyrese Haliburton and Richaun Holmes.

The young Kings team has been grinding game after game, having won by just below five points in their first three wins this season. While nothing seems to be consistent in the team's offensive setup at the moment, the chemistry between Tyrese Haliburton and Richaun Holmes is presenting a strong case.

The pair combined for 38 points in the Kings' 113-109 win over the New Orleans Pelicans. What's even more interesting, five of Haliburton's eight assists were scored by Holmes.

Speaking to the media after the game, Haliburton and Holmes heaped praise on each other, revealing the special bond between them that evidently reflects inside the basketball court.

“From the moment I got here, you know, a special relationship between us grew to where we play off each other, and to be honest I didn't know much about Rich [Holmes] before I got here, and I quickly figured out that if I wanted an assist, it was easy to play with Rich,” Haliburton said via NBC Sports.

“He's just so creative with the ball, especially when getting downhill in the pick-and-roll, so for me, it's just about making sure I get space for him and give him room to operate, it's very very simple,” Holmes said of Haliburton. “He knows how to make the right pass and always makes the right decision, so he's very very tough to guard in the pick and roll.”
