The sad reality for New York Knicks supporters is that right now, their team could end up as being the biggest loser of the summer. After missing out on the first overall pick in the draft lottery, the Knicks appear to be losing some ground on the Kevin Durant sweepstakes.

As it turns out, the Knicks front office already have a Plan B in place, and this apparently includes Philadelphia 76ers swingman James Ennis. This is via Ian Begley of SNY.

Another name to keep an eye on? James Ennis. Some in the Knicks organization are fans of Ennis and they will keep an eye on Ennis if they don't land their top targets, per sources.

Ennis recently declined his player option with the Sixers for next season, and the 28-year-old will be hitting free agency within the next couple of days. It now appears that Ennis might have a future in The Big Apple.

Ennis has had quite a colorful five-year career in the NBA thus far. The former 50th overall pick back in 2013 has been a journeyman in the league, having played for no less than six different teams already. Last summer, he signed as a free agent with the Houston Rockets, but was shipped off to the Sixers last February in exchange for a future second-round pick. Ennis played a reserve role for the Sixers, averaging only 5.3 points, 0.6 three-pointers, 3.6 rebounds, 0.8 assists, and 0.4 blocks in just 18 appearances for the squad.
