New York Knicks boss Tom Thibodeau is known as a pretty serious guy. He can get very heated and to be honest, looks like a no-nonsense type of coach.

But off the court, Thibs is actually quite funny, according to Knicks guard Evan Fournier. The Frenchman recently sat down with the New York Post for an interview and dished on the side of Thibodeau's personality that fans don't see:

Q: Tell me something about coach Tom Thibodeau I don’t know.

A: He’s actually funny. He’s really good at being serious, demand the best from us, and having a (in a deep voice) very deep voice, and being serious, to all of a sudden he cracks a joke and the atmosphere’s super-relaxed and stuff.

Q: What’s the best joke he’s cracked in the Knicks locker room?

A: The one I remember was something [along] the line of him saying he was like sexy, or something like that (smile). Like sexy-good looking.

Q: At a team meeting he just said that?

A: No, we were like loosening up and was like music on, it was rap music, which he, I think, don’t listen to.

Good to know Thibs is confident in his looks! While being a good coach is one thing, having a fun relationship with your players is also just as important. He clearly has that with this current Knicks group.

New York is 11-11 at the moment and will be looking to break .500 on Saturday against the Denver Nuggets. They're trailing in the second quarter.
