After tearing his ACL back in January, New York Knicks big man Kristaps Porzingis has not made a lot of  public appearances and visited the team. However, that changed recently as he made a surprise trip to Madison Square Garden and giving his teammates a chance to see him after a long time. That includes Kyle O'Quinn, who the 22-year-old shares a strong bond with.

While being surrounded by reporters and interviewed, O'Quinn can clearly be heard expressing his excitement in seeing Porzingis. He was very ecstatic about him back in the arena, before approaching and welcoming him as well, in a video posted by Brian Mahoney of the Associated Press.

During their game against the Milwaukee Bucks on January 23rd, the 7-foot-3 Latvian international posterized Giannis Antetokounmpo, but immediately fell to the floor and holding on to his knee. The crowd inside MSG knew it was not a good sign, as he needed to be helped off by his teammates and brought to their locker room. Porzingis was then rushed to a hospital to undergo some tests, where an MRI revealed the devastating news. Surgery has since been done on him, and he is currently recovering from it.

The Knicks have not done well without him, losing 16 of their last 17 games. They now own a dismal 24-44 record, and are once again headed to the lottery, after starting the season with a lot of optimism that they can make a postseason appearance. If there's any good news for them at this point, Porzingis looks to be in good spirits, and if he doesn't suffer any setbacks, has a chance to play again once next season starts, which will definitely excite O'Quinn more, along with the rest of the team.
