Los Angeles Lakers guard Alex Caruso is truly one persistent guy. After trying (and failing) to come for the head of reigning NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, the LA sparkplug tried it once more and got the job done the second time around.

Caruso, of course, is as fearless as they come and was unfazed when he attacked the rim at one point in the Lakers' hosting of the Milwaukee Bucks at Staples Center on Wednesday. However, the Greek Freak got the better of him in his first attempt, denying what could have been an epic two-handed poster jam.

But Caruso is not the type to give up easily, as he once again challenged the reigning NBA Defensive Player of the Year in a fastbreak. After taking the ball away from the Bucks megastar, CaruShow took off and started a one-man fast break for the Lakers.

It didn't matter if Giannis was streaking behind him for the chase-down block, as the 27-year-old high leaper exploded for a one-handed hammer right over the top of the Freak.

Well, two times' the charm for Alex Caruso. The Lakers were outplayed by the Bucks for 48 minutes, succumbing to a 112-97 defeat in Andre Drummond's debut. Caruso, however, was one of the few bright spots for coach Frank Vogel, pitching in six points, four rebounds and two assists off the bench.

Giannis may have gotten dunked on in this play, but he still got the last laugh, torching the Lakers for 25 points and 10 boards.
