At an event sponsored by Xbox for the upcoming release of NBA 2K20, Los Angeles Lakers big man Anthony Davis told our very own Ryan Ward and Tomer Azarly that he “always” used to play Kawhi Leonard and the San Antonio Spurs and James Harden and the Houston Rockets.

NBA 2K recently released the ratings of the top NBA players in the upcoming installment of the popular basketball video game, NBA 2K20. Davis and LeBron James were rated as the best duo at 95.5, albeit only half a point behind the tandem of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George on the Los Angeles Clippers.

It's doubtful AD will use Leonard and his Clippers in the upcoming game. After all, he could very well use the Lakers now with their own superstar duo. Of course, he could still opt for James Harden and the Rockets who were just boosted by the acquisition of former Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Russell Westbrook.

Regardless of whichever team Davis uses in NBA 2K20, the Lakers will certainly be hoping that the high marks in a video game are a sign of a successful on-court team that can reach the NBA Finals again after a near-decade absence from the league's top honor.

The Lakers have failed to reach the playoffs for the past six seasons, so it's no wonder why fans are clamoring for a change in 2019-20.
